Hotel Gasthof Lang - Balingen

I have been thereon a easy Tuesday night. Food was excellent and the ambiance was decent. Everything was very clean and and servicee was reasonably quick.BUT......When I asked for the bill, I told the waiter that I want to pay by credit card......that started a tirade by the waiter....complaining about AMEX and their high costs.....telling me, that: ...if prices will raise in the future, people can thank that to you......That pretty much screwed the evening for me. Aside of the questionable service, it would have been 4-5..... like this it was a weak 2

This hotel location and rooms are good but in my opinion amenities wise it is not so good. They do not have tea/coffee maker in room. Rooms are compact and neat and clean and also very quiet

We were invited here to a birthday party. For this purpose, the space was rented with a view of the castle complex. There are a few parking spaces around the house. Circa 200 meters further, however, there are numerous places for the car at the cattle market. The campers were also thought of. Circa 8 free parking spaces with electricity connection (for a fee) and a paid disposal are provided. The reception was very friendly, the end of the evening with champagne reception and a menu that was tailored to all ages was served by the team and without much attention. No problem! The kitchen also seemed ready for the double number of guests. All dishes were tastefully discreet and yet excellently matched in their composition. The wine recommendations on the menuecard for the dishes were very suitable. A red and a white wine and a rose wine. I stopped at the Chadonney and my husband stayed at the Red Night after a trial. The Balinger Festtagsuppe, the salad plate, the pork larvae and panned schnitzel along with the grilled vegetables, pommes, croquets and hand-cabed late zle found great agreement among the guests present. A fruit cup (all fresh fruit) with vanilla ice cream and cream was served as dessert. It tasted us excellent. At the price-performance ratio, we cannot make a statement on the basis of the invitation. The staff was very attentive and always tangible in the background. The toilets were just a few meters away and made a very well-maintained impression. Reunion value: happy again! Visitation certificate: 06.03.2020 from 17:30 no one invited!
