Ying Wah - BALGOWLAH

The food was bland, salty and moderate. it was lacking in the aromes typical of Chinese food. it was very disappointing.

With 6-10 restaurants to choose from, all located within close proximity, I let my children pick the spot. They excitedly entered Ying Wah and we prepared ourselves for a hearty meal. The COVID-19 protocols were excellent, with ample distancing in place and no issues with ordering. As we waited for our crispy fried duck, honey chicken, sizzling beef, and other dishes to arrive, my children entertained themselves by observing the restaurant. The friendly and attentive staff provided us with plenty of cold water in a large bottle, and the meal was served on a rotating "lazy susan" for easy sharing. We were impressed by the generous portions and each child even left with a "Hundgie-Taschen" for later. The restaurant was clean, bright, and inviting. We will definitely be back if our experience is anything to go by!

Although it is a new addition to the area, having lived on the northern beaches for decades, we were disappointed with our experience at this new local Chinese restaurant. It is just one among many others in the area. We only tried two drinks and decided that we will not be returning for a meal.

45 minutes waiting for food in the restaurant. by now the kidnappers flew out of the door. not good. not going
