NEXT Balance Thai - Stockland Balgowlah

My daughter and I went for lunch at Monkey King in Balgowlah today. We noticed a promotion for the new government meal voucher for Covid-19 at our table. However, when we tried to use our vouchers, we were told they were not valid during lunchtime. This was not made clear to us, and we ended up having to pay the full price for our meal. The employee we dealt with was unhelpful and kept insisting that we had to pay. This was very disappointing, and we will not be returning to this restaurant. We will instead use our vouchers at a different establishment.

My partner and I went to this restaurant to celebrate Valentine's Day and we were pleasantly surprised. The prawn betel leaf dish is a must-try! We also enjoyed the three sister mushroom dish with jasmine rice. The coconut ice cream was heavenly. The atmosphere was really nice and the staff was friendly.

Although we have a monkey king near our house, we travel here as the atmosphere and eating is better. can not mistake any thing (except the toilet is outside (not far) shared by others in the middle, which is very picky hate to ask for a key) food...big service good friendly and fast (not that we want to hurry) the plaza atmosphere and unbridled sitting (since covid) help to create something we enjoy and we have become two customers. my favorite and the best I ever had, is the soft bowl crab try it yum

The chilli jam soft crab is outstanding! A favourite amongst all my friends. Green curry is great too!
