The waitress was very attentive and helpful and the fries were fresh and hot, but that's the only good thing I can say. I had a Rueben sandwich with a side of fries. The bread was soggy, it lacked enough sauerkraut and dressing. This place has potential and I'm sure the locals love it but these uninvited guests (ants) at our table and the fact the place just wasn't very clean had us leaving before we finished our meal.

Come support this amazing family owned restaurant in Baldwin! Hands down, the best prime rib in the region, and a good value for the price. Yesterday, my fiancé and I hosted a small family gathering at the nearby Lumberyard Arts Center, and catered a prime rib lunch from Wooden Spoke. Everything was cooked to perfection, with medium rare, medium, and medium well options. The sides of salad, baked potatoes, and buns were great too. I'd highly recommend this place both for family dinner or catering of larger events. The restaurant moved to a former gas station a few years back. It's quite small, and gets busy on weekends, so be sure to arrive early if you want a seat (they don't take reservations, but you can call and find out if they are busy . Also, the prime rib is only available on Fridays and Saturdays (their other food is great as well! . And they are closed on Mondays.
