Star Kebab House - Bala

This is the best kebab place for miles! Their lamb kebabs (shish) have a wonderfully flavorful marinade, though they're not quite perfect. The chips are incredibly delicious, but, as stated in the shop, they are fried in oil derived from genetically modified plants, which makes us a bit hesitant. As a result, we usually end up getting chips from the local fish and chip shop instead. Hence, I rated it 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that, they offer fair prices and a great variety of food options, from pizza to mozzarella sticks to kebabs. Overall, it’s a great spot to grab a meal!

We always order the Bala special, which is perfect for two people. The portion size is excellent and offers great value for money. I’ve been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal. My kids love the cheese pizza, cheeseburger, and chicken burger, and they always turn out delicious. This is definitely their favorite place to get takeout in Bala.

This is the main (and perhaps only) kebab shop in Bala. The service is quick and friendly, and the food is quite good. My only critique is that they tend to be a bit heavy on the sauce with their kebabs, which seems to be a common theme in Wales!

Fast service and delicious food. Not had a kebab for a while and I think this is one of the nicest I've ever had. I got the chicken combo from the specials menu. Lovely .
