Contribuiți la feedbackCame here for my birthday dinner with my friends and had an amazing experience. This is located in Bala Cynwyd. I chose this place due to its location, award winning chef and the vibe. Upon entering I noticed how beautiful the inside was. I waited for my friends and really enjoyed the furniture decor. The place was packed with people ! We decided to share everything so we got to taste a bit of it all. We tried the octopus and escargot which was so so good. The octopus was soft and not chewy. The escargot was very flavorful paired on a piece of toast. We got two types of pastas which were award winning in my head. We were too full for entrees because we wanted the dessert. I kept raving about this place for days to my friends and family. Would definitely come back again ! Looking forward to visiting next time
I love the staff here, they are so friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is really nice inside and out. The food was good, we really enjoyed course 1 and 2, but the entrees, not so much. If we go back we'll order a bunch of appetizers instead of apps entrees. The sweet potato dessert was delicious. We went to Lark for my mom’s birthday. She was really excited to experience the restaurant with us as she and my dad had a great first experience. This experience really left us disappointed and sad. The waiter was perfectly nice and the first two courses were tasty. The entrees were pretty average. What hit the nail in the coffin was when the waiter came out with a candle on a plate. This made us feel cheap. I’ve never gone somewhere where they just give you a candle on a plate and not a dessert. If you don’t want to offer free dessert then just do nothing. We paid over $400 for this meal and the end felt like a slap in the face. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Beautiful ambiance, great service, trendy, and quite hip. Every dish we had was amazing. My husband and I are certified foodies and this place is on our top five places to go. The oysters were fresh with decent amount of caviar. Freshly baked focaccia with tapenade was superb. The stripe bass crudo and branzino were my favorite. The mushroom foie-gras ravioli was rich so good omg it was my husband's and my 17 year old son's favorite. This restaurant is expensive but worth every penny! Well... if there's a first time to ever try Escargot, it's here. It was delicious along with the Octopus. It was grilled perfectly and not chewy or tough. The atmosphere was popular, pleasant with an exclusive feel to it. The service was fantastic. They were full of recommendations, attentive and they didn't miss a beat. This is a 3 course meal restaurant so the flow is important. Food is perfect for sharing even if you think you are just ordering for yourself. Share and enjoy the exploration of deliciousness!
