La Gourmandise St. Regis Bal Harbour

This tee was disappointing. the eating display and the setup were nice. the “restaurant” is located in the hotel lobby. the people who just arrived went in and out, stopped to watch our food while all the cases rolled around. it is unpleasant to eat while you are being observed and people go through pullovers and training clothes. the room that would be nice on a sunny day was so cold because of the weather outside. it was uncomfortable and our tee was halfway cold through the meal. a room with actual temperature control would be helpful and can be a warming plate for the tee. the eating was good, and the server were pleasant, but the service was slow- they were too busy making coffee etc., for the people arriving in the hotel. they also held a 20% tip appropriate without having to get an option. for the price was not worth it. a good unique experience.

This was an amazing experience. La Gourmandise is one of my new favorite places! Our server Mikayla was exceptional and is honestly one of the reasons we will be back. The food was top notch, the decor is stunning and the over all ambiance of the hotel and the staff was 10 out of 10. We will definitely become regulars here for afternoon tea. I highly recommend taking a visit!
