Pyrenees Cafe - Bakersfield

My wonderful friends took me to this restaurant during my trip to Bakersfield, and the first thing I noticed was the warm, welcoming atmosphere where everyone seems to know each other, making it feel like one big family. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially Jen and Michelle, who really stand out.

Absolutely amazing variety of dishes, and everything is absolutely delicious!

My friend insisted that we must try Basque cuisine while in Bakersfield, so she brought us to this restaurant for dinner. The food was incredibly tasty! We shared a garlic chicken dish and butternut squash ravioli, and we ended up ordering extra bread because it was so delicious. However, the true highlight of the evening was our server, Chris. While the food was great, his humor and charm stole the show. I definitely plan to return, and next time, I'll make sure to budget for a bigger tip!

Just amazing different types of food and all of it is extremely good

The pastrami sandwich was fantastic. The garlic fried chicken was good. The service was out-of-sight (not to be found).
