Baja Fresh - Bakersfield

The food was fantastic! Unfortunately, the restaurant in my city has closed down. It was a nice experience dining here again and reminiscing about how delicious the food used to be.

It's not Rubio's, but it is edible. Service here is great. The gal behind the counter has been working here for a few years and she does a great job in even the busiest of times. One of my complaints about Baja Fresh is they sit the fish on top of cabbage and sauce. It's funky to eat. The fish wants to jump off and the sauce drains down your hand when you eat. The fish used is wahoo and it has a slightly weird flavor. A better fish could be used.

The customer service was excellent, and my friend and I really enjoyed the food. We will definitely return.

I wanted to try something different and noticed a few people waiting for their to-go orders. I hoped the wait wouldn't be too long. I decided to order the Diablo burrito. The wait was a bit longer than I expected, but the food was delicious and they even gave me a complimentary side of chips. The burrito was a decent size, which was a good thing because it was a bit on the pricey side. However, it was very filling and satisfying.

Management: they already repair the smelling baths. this bathroom smell makes a bad appetit in the escap. it is unbearable.5/25/2022 it smells like a smelling public bathroom drain. Star rating until fixed.6/24/2022 I found out. it is the drain at the sodabrunnen, not the bathroom. talk to their chemical/customer provider about possible solutions.
