Baker Travel Plaza

Perfect EV charging oasis for anyone traveling from Southern California to Las Vegas. Very good food selection at the food court for the whole family, including frozen yogurt. This is a must stop for me whenever I go to Vegas.

This quaint plaza has more eateries than the bigger (Loves, TA, Petro, etc) truck stops. You almost feel like you are in a mini food court. Of course there's the regular mini mart, like a.regular truck stop, rest rooms etc but they blend families and truckers synergetically. Quite nice.It's also clean, with friendly people, brightly lit, has a definite separation between regular parking, truck parking, regular fueling pumps, and big rig pumps.On the road between NV CA, this is a welcome addition over above the Barstow stop!

I was excited when this place first opened with all of the choices they were bringing, but I've since been disappointed. The last time I stopped it was 7:30 am and I was hoping for something from the Cinnabon or Coffee Bean to keep me going. Sadly, the only place open was Subway. I don't understand that. I may grab some gas if I need some, but otherwise I'll be passing by.

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because it was quite clean.Nothing but the store was open and nothing was on grills for breakfast (05:30 am).It is also a pain in the butt to get into. Went in the driveway that had truck parking thinking it was the entrance, only to find out it was only a dirt parking area. Had to go out the other side, come back around to the service road, then take the next driveway.

Stopped here to use the facilities and look for some drinks and snacks for the road. They did have a great selection of snack items and several different fast food restaurants too. The overall restrooms could have been cleaner, they were adequate.
