Paper Chase - Bairnsdale

At 1.10 we were told we close at 2pm. Pretty early for a cafe to close ! Food was ok. I had a quiche , good flavour but not made today I don’t think. Coffee was quite weak and very milky. It was busy so the locals must like it.

My granola was burnt, my daughter is vegan and bacon turned up on her breakfast, waiter kept wiping his nose and toilet was dirty… Won’t be back..

A great find for Coeliacs. Menu advises to notify staff if you are. A lot of meals could be made Gluten Free. Separate cabinet for additional goodies and cakes. Had a lovely breakfast. Certainly worth the stop and will go back if in the area

Nice little cafe. The coffee was excellent and the staff friendly. I ate the Chorizo Scramble and it was very nice albeit not a large serve.

Nice little cafe on the main highway. My chorizo scrambled eggs were a bit rubbery and ordinary, unfortunately, and on soft unsuitable bread. The bacon side was good though. On the plus side they make a nice croque monsieur and the coffee was really good. Service was lovely throughout. Conclusion overall: a bare pass.
