The Paxton - Bainbridge Ross County

Beef and noodle special last night (28 December 2020) was just fantastic. Had to do everything with a delicious piece of blackberry cake and yes with ice, although winter! You can't go wrong with this premier old-fashioned diner.

The Paxton offers very basic, nostalgic cuisine. There's nothing particularly special about it, but those who recall the Woolworth Art Cafeterias from the 1970s might appreciate the experience. The restaurant is small, and the waitress was both friendly and efficient. We'll return to see if the food can surprise us in any way.

The staff here is very friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere where everyone seems to know the waitstaff and enjoys their company. The food is not only delicious but also my favorite in the area, and the prices are reasonable. My only critique is that they need to have more than one waiter on duty. During our first visit, we felt rushed due to the influx of customers, which affected the service. However, we'll definitely return once they’re more prepared for busy times.

Great place to eat. We have been eating there since 2008. The Koleslawin is the best.
