Food was expensive for what I received. Only one server, couldn't get refills on coffee and water.

They have a senior menu with smaller portions that are perfect.

Food is just ok. But the reason to avoid this place is the owner. I’ve been 4-5 times now, and each time he has sat in the dining area and talked LOUDLY across tables about himself or politics or whatever. It’s a very small dining area so having a conversation of your own over the blather is almost impossible.

Where to start....We havn't been here in a while, but are we glad we came back! Service was exceptional and staff was friendly and attentive to all our needs. I had the chicken fried steak, absolutely delicious! Definately homemade, no pre formed, drop in hot oil CFS served here. Meal came with choice of potato, soup or salad, and veggie. I also had a cup of green chili to sweeten the deal. Chili was very tasty and hearty. My Brother had the chili relleno breakfast. Rellenos were large and crispy and full of flavor. Even the owner, Chip, came to our table to talk to us, extremely friendly and personable guy. Highly recommend The Cutthroat Cafe to anyone passing through Bailey. Stop by the Sasquatch Outpost next door when finished. We will definately be back.
