We were about to leave when the server surprised us with delicious hot chocolates made with slightly sweetened cocoa chips from Guayaquil, Ecuador. They were the best hot chocolates we've ever had. The rest of the menu mainly consists of various coffee options.
I enjoy having coffee at the café and even purchased fresh beans to brew at home, enjoying a delicious cup all week.
In any case it is worth going out. These people know coffee inside and outside. There is a wide selection of freshly roasted beans in paper bags (yay Zero waste packaging. With a roast to fit any taste profile. My partner hates the sour taste of many small roasts, so we were happy to discover strong, delicious dark roasted beans here to enjoy during the camping. My French is very simple and the Baristas were so enthusiastic and gracious with me, they just wanted to make sure that I got exactly what I wanted. You have espresso on the menu, something I don't often see on the west coast. It was perfect, just a few shots on ice. We'll be back.
Cute little coffee shop where they do the roasting of the beans. Good place to get some work done. Lots of locals come here as it's off of the main tourist road.
