Microbrasserie St-Pancrace

Very nice welcoming place for the whole family. Good food, good beer. They even have a kids menu!

This restaurant serves the best stout I have ever tasted. They also offer delicious pastry stout, poutine, and pickled whelks. The atmosphere is cozy with a mix of big and small tables and a shelf full of games to enjoy. The waitstaff are friendly and welcoming. They also offer flights of beer for those who want to try different options. I loved the stout so much that I bought some to take home, although I'm not sure if it will last the trip! I hope they start exporting their amazing beer soon.

During a stop in Baie-Comeau, we were drawn to this highly recommended spot for its impressive beer selection. It's definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in the area. Despite the small and crowded space, which was unexpected due to the unexpected influx of visitors from a Disney Cruise Ship, we were able to snag seats at the bar. Contrary to our expectations, the atmosphere was not filled with kids. We enjoyed a flight, a pint, and some delicious food, making for a wonderful experience overall.

Sitting at the bar, with good plexiglas separation from servers and other mosquitoes, I enjoyed a great service (also in English! and started with marinated turbot, good if a bit cold, followed by an excellent salmon pizza, unusually covered with acid cream, but very... Everything was accompanied by a sampler of the wonderful local beers. Great!

We waited for the ferry here. I'm always sceptical about microbrow food because it's often just a snack. I ordered a cheese-free version of smoked meat poutin and it was the best I had all week. The smoked meat was really delicious and I think it is locally produced. A burger was also ordered and it was very good, along with a beautiful part of the frites. I'm not completely in microbrows, so I'll just say that the beer I had was good, but I didn't ask for a second.
