El Costeño - Bahia de Conejos

DO NOT RECOMMEND! We were recommended this restaurant as part of a bahias tour, and I really should have read the reviews first. Several other restaurants were busy, but this one was near empty. The prices are quite expensive, the quality was OK, but what irritates me is the 200 peso auto-gratuity that they sneak in. Only when confronted about it, did they say we didn't have to pay it. Prices have recently doubled. Stay away. We went to the restaurant next door which was hopping but el content was a ghost town.

¡Terrible! La peor experiencia calidad-precio de mi vida. Nos llevaron allí como parte de un tour por las Bahías con Atardecer Huatulco, no elegimos el lugar. Nos habían prometido una comida excelente. No dudamos, ya que comer frente al mar siempre es delicioso. Sin embargo, en esta ocasión la comida fue pésima y el precio excesivo. Pedimos un filete de pescado y nos trajeron un pequeño filete con dos trozos de zanahoria, UN brócoli y UNA hoja de lechuga con un poco de arroz malo. El cóctel de camarones era puro catsup. Los precios, además de ser caros, no incluyen el IVA. Le hicimos la observación a la jefa y fue sumamente grosera. Es una lástima que un lugar así manche la imagen de la deliciosa comida mexicana y deje un mal sabor a los turistas. La gente alrededor nuestro también estaba muy descontenta. The place is nice to look at, however, the portion of the food is not proportional to the price. We ordered 3 whiting (200 pesos and they brought little fish. We ordered a Pineapple stuffed with seafood (which they only prepare with shrimp and “octopus” and the flavor was good but it didn't have that much “seafood” considering what it costs (430 pesos .
