Contribuiți la feedbackTasty eating at an affordable price. puto bumbong with brew coffee is a must try.
It offers good food and the personal is really nice. very accessible for everyone (rad chairs can reach it) and baby chairs are also available. it also has its take-out area. but it should always check its stands to better accommodate its customers. we went there to eat around 7.30 in the evening and almost all of them under the menu are not available, even the drinks. closes at 9.30 a.m., but even earlier, if their stocks are already limited.
The restaurant is one of the old restaurant in Baguio. They serve Filipino cuisine. We had the freshest chopseuy in a restaurant ever! Meaning freshest veggies. The sinigang na ilocos bagnet is also yum. But the pork is not tender coz it's bagnet. So if you want a tender pork just choose the regular pork sinigang. The food is not that salty which i like. The ambience is good but i wish they had highchair for babies. There's a bar upstairs too. In terms of price, it's cheap coz they had a lot of servings.
Place is not that big and not that clean. Staff were accommodating though. Fried chicken were overcooked, like it was fried three times or more. Sinigang soup was great but the pork is really hard to chew.
Solibao has been a restaurant our family usually visits whenever we are in Baguio. They cook a wide variety of good Filipino food. A must try is their puto bumbong and Spanish cocoa. Their branches in Burnham park and along Session road show some age but have that rustic feel to it. Prices are quite reasonable considering their viands are good for sharing. This is a place to visit after a tiring walk around the city.
