Contribuiți la feedbackIf you're in Palermo or close by you can't miss this place, it's worth the whole trip! Authentic Sicilian food, perfectly reasonable prices and a quite obvious deep care of customers and their dining experience. The host is so lovely, let him guide you when picking what you should eat he is clearly very passionate about his job and his products. Yes to genuine, traditional, old style food experiences! As an Italian living in London I long for the above when back in Italy and this place has 100% delivered. Don't miss it!
We visited this restaurant rather by accident, and first checked on TripAdvisor. Since the reviews were rather good, we decided to go in. We asked for an antipasto for two persons, without fish and repeated it for three times to make sure they waiter had understood us. A few moments later the waiter came with a rather small antipasto with fish on it. Bad start. Afterwards we had two spaghetti pommodore, and half a liter of wine. The food was eatable, but nothing to brag about. The bill was 30€, which is a lot for the food we had, compared with other Sicilian restaurants we visited. We believe we were ripped off because we were tourists. I wouldn't recommand this place to anyone.
This was a wonderful experience for our family! The food was so good and the service was excellent. We were there with children and it was also family friendly. It was a great Italian experience!
The owner was very friendly and felt proud about managing restaurant for a long time in this area. I could have experience about sicilian foods. The foods were generally tasty to foreigner. But, I am quite disappointed about that big bottle of beer came out even though I ordered smaller one. I am sure this restaurant would be better if he would not cheat travelers.
We were desperately looking for a place to eat in Bagheria at 2 pm, every place looked closed. We came in and asked if they were serving, and even though there were no client, the host welcomed us warmly and suggested us some typical Sicilian dishes. We started the lunch with some local amuse-bouche: Cooked eggs, salt and sweet wine. We had a good experience of an authentic Sicilian lunch.
