Contribuiți la feedbackIt was delicious. Fresh. Different and good price quality. The lady owner is not only a good cook but also a briljant singer. It gave the whole evening a sense of happy party atmosphere. We will certainly come back. Complimenti
This restaurant just outside Badesi features dishes which are typical Sardinian, but with a twist. Delicate sea asparagus delicately prepared in a batter, crispy and flavorful. A Pepperoni dish with garlic and onions prepared in vinegar present a whole new side of these regular vegetable. Wine comes from a nearby cantina Li Duni and is superb. Ask for vermintino, particularly Nozzina. You will enjoy the visit!
About a mile outside from Badesi mare in eastern direction. Follow the SP90 direction Santa Teresa. Before a curve, the restaurant is a bit hidden beneath the street level; you need to enter the restaurant by following the stairway down. Parking space is sufficient. Enjoy having a fish menu e.g. with the catch of the day which is always fresh. I also recommend the Octopus carpaccio as starter or as main meal (if you are not too hungry).
This restaurant offers a menu that is entirely different from any of the other restaurants in the area. Food is superb and the chef will visit your table to see if you enjoyed it. No view but the ambience is good and gentle background music enhances it all. House wine is good value at just €5 for a half litre. I recommend it highly. HOWEVER, do not use the Trip Advisor map. It is wrong. The restaurant is actually located on Via Nazionale, on the main road out of Badesi towards Isola Rossa, less than a kilometre out of town on the left hand side. It's right on a bend in the main road with its own parking bays on the main drag.
If you fancy swordfish tartare, spaghetti with sea anemones, sea asparagus, and the like, and a charming head chef who comes out to serenade you (rather well) with a karaoke machine and don 't mind digging into your wallet a little, this is for anyone visiting northern Sardinia. The house wines were excellent, the home made tiramisu superb, and Minnena a real character. On the negative side, we found the local cuisine pasta dishes a bit dull and the creme caramel disappointing. But everything else was superb imaginative, unusual, delicious.
