Great cozy outside and enjoyed a great snitzel. The host is a humorous man who's been hanging out with the guests. The local dishes and wine are fine and the price-quality is excellent! Already a hit man!

Good Flammekueches (traditional meal in Alsace), good German beers and prices are not expensive. Lovely decoration. Be aware that the restaurant doesn't accept credit cards.

We were here on the road and hotel recommended this. Funny atmosphere in the cellar, good choice, price quality very good and very kind service.

I have eaten here before so thought I would bring my wife eat here as it was so good last time. Good decision. We were welcomed like old friends and although our German English communication was not the best we had a great evening tried some local food suggested with humour and some mimicking to work out what animal it was and finished the evening with complimentary Schnapps. It was amusing to note that they knew where we lived from the Somer Murder series on TV and there was much nodding of heads with the mention of "Inspector Barnaby" Quite hilarious. Also the price was very low for such good food. Bargain.What lovely welcoming people.

We ate outside on a warm evening, sharing a table with a local couple. Everything was very tasty and well-presented and excellent value. We ended up leaving with a case of the owner's own wine - cheap and cheerful!
