Lisa's Geruchtekuche - Baden-Baden

Man hatte uns dieses Lokal zum Hochzeitstag empfohlen und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Schon, dass uns die Speisekarte vorgelesen wurde, mit vielen kleinen zusätzlichen Details, hatte was. Das Essen war super, das Dessert köstlich. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet.Die Chefin ist sehr nett, ein kleines aber feines Lokal, ideal geeignet, wenn es einmal etwas Außergewöhnliches sein soll. Die Speisen alle frisch, man hats geschmeckt. Preislich alles vertreten - von günstig bis hoch, gemessen an der Gegenleistung aber nicht überteuert. Keine Massenware eben :)

Neckartenzlingen is a small village 17 kms away from the university city of Tuebingen. It has one main street- the Hauptstr.- which runs through the village. You would not notice the restaurant if you did not look more closely. Lisa is the owner and she actually spends time with her guests, explaining the specials of the day. There is a standard menu and then there are specials that are cooked, based on the fresh ingredients of the season.Lisa's philosophy is that a good meal deserves to be enjoyed. "Fast food" is non existing. I had a tasting of three soups as an appetizer, and my husband had a fresh field salad with home made dressing. The main courses were bio-fed beefsteak and chicken with roasted potatoes on an apricot sauce, and the dessert was a plate of home made sorbet, chocolate cake and berry mousse. The cappucino was accompanied by home made small figurines. It was a culinary pleasure in a quaint and homey setting.

Wir waren auf einer Radtour ins Elsaß zufällig in Lisa's Gerüchteküche gelandet: uns wurde das seit Langem beste Abendessen von einer sehr netten Wirtin serviert!Und das zu sehr moderaten Preisen.In jedem Falle werden wir wieder hier vorbei schauen.Liebe Lisa: weiter so!
