We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches on the first morning, and indulged in delicious scones the following day (their coffee was excellent too!). During our visit, Rose introduced us to Mac who took us on an exciting off-road jeep tour of the South Margaree area and offered fantastic recommendations for activities in Baddeck. High Wheeler Cafe truly felt like the heart of Main Street.
From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted warmly. Our breakfast of fresh coffee and pastries was delightful. It was evident that the bakery was a favorite among locals and tourists alike. The owners and staff were incredibly accommodating and willing to assist with anything we needed. I especially enjoyed their Cabot Trail lunches to go concept. I would have loved to return multiple times, but unfortunately they were closed during the rest of our stay in Baddeck.
We arrived after closing and were still treated kindly and graciously. The coffee (espresso and latte) was excellent, and the staff, extremely helpful and hospitable.
Adorable and delicious! Staff very friendly. Fresh coffee and pastries were fabulous. Cabot trail lunches to go. Vegan soup and mufffins
Friendly people, everything’s freshly baked in house. Freshly brewed coffee and freshly baked bagels. We enjoyed it thoroughly. The owners are very friendly, food is yum
