Baneshwar - Bādāmi

This is a clean, comfortable veg restaurant that appears to be very popular with the locals. Though I am a non veg person, this was much more pleasant than the non veg places I tried, so I ate most of my meals here. Menu is in English and some staff speak English as well. I got very good service, and I'd like to point out, that despite one reviwers comment, that the local customers appeared to receive the same service. I Had the masala dosa and masala tea, only 65 rupees. Also tried a aloo dish from Kashmir, but cannot remember its name, but it had cashews and raisins and was excellent. Tried some Chinese style noodles too, very tasty. Even though it was meatless, this was my favorite place in Badami. It is located across from the bus station, and directly in front of the Hotel Rajsangam.

This place is opposite to badami bus stand. Not very much clean or with proper ambiance but it is easily manageable place. We tried south indian dishes and like the Masala Dosa and Idali in taste.Worth to try in Badami...Even after trying 4 south Indian dishes our bill was close to 120 only.

Very good restaurant situated on the main road near the bus station. The meals are delicious and the staff helpful.

If you are staying in one of the nearby resorts or hotels then this is the right place to eat. Its a good restaurent offering fairly priced snacks, lunch and dinner. It tends to be crowded during peak hours and the service becomes lacklusture.

Very bad quality food. Serves south and North Indian food, but was not really great. Even service was not upto the mark. Situated at the center, but was very dusty and dirty.
