Baneshwar - Bādāmi

We were looking for a decent dinner option in Badami. That seemed better off the game, so we had our lunch here. It is located directly opposite Badami Bus Stand. A typical Udupi hotel. Not much hype. We chose South...Indian thali. It was a standard tuna and tasted good. The Kesari bath was delicious. Value for money.

Located conveniently across from the bus stand, this restaurant is popular and always busy, with quick and attentive service. Fans of Udipi hotels in the south will appreciate the familiar atmosphere and fast, tasty food of good quality. The ambience is simple but inviting, and the thali is highly recommended.

The food was served quickly with little wait time. It was delicious and the restaurant had a bustling and open atmosphere. The coffee was also excellent.

If you are planning to visit Pattadkal and Aihole, be sure to have your lunch in Badami as there are not many good dining options outside of the town.

Nice place to eat with family or friends. We went here in evening for some South Indian Snacks, and ended up taking up full dinner meal. The ambiance was average, not much to mention about. The service was bit slow and was bit crowded. Looked...to be well managed and hygienic. Food was good in taste not delicious i would say. We had tomato onion uttapa, masala dosa sambhar was superb in taste. As we could not fill our stomach just with that, we went to main course and ordered some veg maratha (too much chilly), dal tadka (good in taste but missed something). Coming to the price, the place is light on your pockets and worth it. So you can definitely give a try.
