One of the hikes on the eselsweg through the spessart led us from shy to mernes to the jossa Valley. after some rainy and cloudy 25 kilometers above a very attractive and beautiful first stage, we had reserved a room for the night in the house am weinbach. frau Heimrich rents two very nice rooms with breakfast on hiking in the souterrain of her house. just a few meters away you will find the gas house to the jossa Valley, where we had already reserved a table before (at the price before the evening) for happiness as we were to find in the gas house. it was full on Sunday night, second October 2022. many families and couples used the evening before the celebrations for a meal in the gas house. but we have a nice table in the guest room because of our reservation. a lady from the service led us to the table and showed us our table. After I stole our garderob, we took a place. the cards were handed over and asked for a drink request. we were at the pilgers from the Keiler brewery in wurzburg, which already tasted us in shy. the map was typical country house, with a real focus on the carnivores and lovers of decent kitchen, found a few alternatives for the vegetarian and even less for the vegan. Woman and herr Carsten1972 are ubiquitous and had 25 kilometers back. the card was our for the evening. two supposs were ordered before and Swabian high-time soup, bark force with huge and meatballs, egg stitching, was clear that my wife would order as a native vibrassin. she was happy with her choice. for me a dish from the autumn season map. orange pumpkin cream soup with red beet chips I had ordered. the chips were probably out because on my soup croutons found themselves. but also with them I could enjoy a beautiful fruity, with curry-detailed pumpkin suppe. the start was fallen, for the most important courses we selected from the short, but thema herbst suitable designed season map. my wife decided to have a gulash of wild meat. this included a pre-seed small salate plate. he looked quite neat as a smash, of course she misses the obligatory part of the kartoffel salad on the teller. but we were in the spessart, and there are much forest and wilder, everywhere they can see jägers in autumn. so it makes sense to offer here a wild card in autumn and so the choice of my wife was the following sapgulasch from wild, with fresh wildragout, cranberry berry and homemade dumplings. that was a more interesting sight, and a rather big court. the first suspected as both that a classic gulasch was combined with a bright mushroom wild ragout. there were really good noodles. secondly, the portion size, as already mentioned this evening, was not a problem for my wife. my court consisted of four small tellers or bowls and cried bravely of wild. a bowl contains already mentioned sapgulasch, a second chopbällchen from wild, I guess as wild boar meat. on him was a cranberry fish cheese, including a classic dark fry. there were sworn kohlrabi, as well as a sweet potato puree. also a pretty lush portion, but also for me tonight no problem. even a dessert went, a part (the last loud service) from the dessert of the season card. together we also made this small part of the hessian apple zimt-Tiramisu. that was a completely free interpretation of the Italian classic. at the bottom a sweet yeasty bottom, over it pelt pieces, like a compott graceful, strong with zimt and nelly seasoned, over it a fat, again with zimt sugar. that was delicious, but after that was nothing more than the bed. the ladies in the service took care of us very well despite the great customers. there were no complaints. so I can come to the conclusion. the gas house to the jossa valley is a classic country house. enthusiasts creative, modern kitchen, vegetarian or vegan are only limited happy here. but if they want to revive in the taste worlds of oma, they will return here. then this really is here
