Kasburo - Bad Dürkheim

Great food. Great staff. Perfect for an evening glass of wine and for family dinners. Visit this place 5 times a year and never disappointed.

If want to go there, please make a reservation. The restaurant is small and well known in the community. It is located in Seebach, in the old part of the village. I would not recommend to walk there from the city. Food is excellent. Staff...is very friendly. The Dürkheimer Fass may be spectacular but we would always prefer smaller restaurants. The listing in Tripadvisor is wrong. The correct name is Käsbüro .

The Käsbüro is a traditional restaurant in a quarter of Bad Dürkheim a 40 minutes walk from the center). It 's located in a historical building of the 12th century. The restaurant is closed on Tuesday. Monday, Wednesday Saturday it 's opened from 4 pm, Sunday...from 12 am. We have been there with 8 adults and 3 children.The welcome was very friendly. The restaurant has some more or less small dining rooms, a reservation is recommended we did a reservation a few weeks before our trip). The children got their own table next to our table. The atmosphere was at the same time warm and classy, but never presumptuous. The owner of the restaurant took her time to ask everyone if everything was ok. She explained every meal and also recommended the appropriate wines. The food was excellent and very fresh. They offer regional Mediterranean dishes as well as regional wines. Prices vary from 4,50€ small salad) and 6€ soup) to 21€ main dish). We had a broad range of different dishes all of us had a starter, main dish and dessert) and every single dish was delicious. I can recommend every meal, but especially the fried lamb sausage bratwurst) that is handcrafted by a regional butcher. I recommend the restaurant, it 's not one of the typical tourist locations with bad food. It was one of the places with the most delicious meals. If you visit Bad Dürkheim, you should go there by cab or enjoy a walk. It 's worth going there.
