Franklin Inn Lounge - Bad Axe

Working up here in bad axe, heard about the buffet, thought I'd give it a try, it was phenomenal, fresh, perfectly seasoned an breaded fish shrimp, fried chicken was light and flakey, steak..fresh mushrooms had great taste,mashed potatoes, salad bar was really nice an ice cream n lil deserts, waitstaff so kind an friendly, sent pics an was on vid to show my wife (who is jealous) said she would be willing to do the 2 1/2 hr hike for us, to come up and get their fri or sat buffet !!!!!!, Thank you

Went to a Baseball card show at the Franklin Inn. It was great. Also had drinks and lunch. A+ Food drinks: A+ Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet

Hotel was extremely run down and poorly cleaned. We had our wedding in the area, we recommended staying else where but some did stay in this hotel. We were promised one price and charged another. Please avoid staying here at all cost. The holiday inn in town was very nice. Lisa the manager was extremely rude and unpleasant to talk too. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 3

Stayed here August 18th and 19th room was out dated but very clean. They do have coffee in the morning but only powdered cream. Restaurant does not open early. We ordered pizza on Friday and that was delicious. Saturday we had wings, chicken quesdilla and potato skins just ok not alot of flavor on any of them. Waitress both nights were very friendly. Buffet looked good but cannot eat that much food for the price Rooms: 5
