Country Kitchen Resturant - Bad Axe

This was our first visit, and we were quite disappointed given the reviews we had read. Unfortunately, all three of our meals arrived cold, and the waffles were undercooked. The meatloaf and bacon were also served cold. Although we received a credit for half of one meal (just one waffle), the overall experience wasn't worth the $28 we spent. Based on our visit, I cannot recommend this place; it seems unlikely to stay in business for long.

The portions are enormous, and the food is incredibly flavorful. The prices are fantastic. I ordered two side dishes for lunch and was genuinely surprised by the generous portions I received. The staff was very friendly and attentive, recommending their specials and quickly bringing my food with no wait time.

Fair price, good food, but it could use a little bit more cleaning, the floors were unswept and I noticed they didn't do a very good job wiping down the tables also there was crumbs on my seat.

Simply put this place is just the worst. Food it terrible, and that is an understatement, burger was not good at all, chicken tenders were burnt, and a kids spaghetti was basically a soup(pictures do no do it justice for just how liquid it is). Wait staff was not that great either, 0 effort or enthusiasm, not a single drink refill. Highly recommend going to any of the other restaurants in the area.
