First and last time going there. Not only were they out of the first 3 things we asked for, My husband kindly asked to substitute his salad and baked potatoe for gumbo. The owner came to us rude like and said no way. He was very unprofessional and we felt he could have handled that situation a lot more professional. Needless to say we did not stay and order our food we paid for our appetizers and left. Unfortunate experience. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Go TO BUBBAHS IN SAL LEON MUCH BETTER SERVICE! !!!!

We had been going to Clifton By the Sea for over a year and a half, this restaurant turn into being our favorite go to restaurant. This was the first time that we had ordered a seafood platter, because the all you can eat was not available anymore, in fact because our sons were with me and my wife we ordered 3 seafood platters. Long story short, the platters came and we were disappointed with the size of the fish and the Oysters. The platter comes with 4 shrimp 4 fish and 4 oysters. The oysters were the size of a quarter and the fish were extremely small, with a baked potato, I could not believe the plate, not worth the 19.99.

Great fried flounder and burgers. Nice to eat by the water, highly recommend if you want to avoid the crowds and hassle of Kemah

I had a cup of seafood gumbo and grilled fish tacos for lunch delicious!
