¡Sin duda, uno de los mejores lugares para comer en Bacalar! ¡Todo un acierto! El molcajete mar y tierra es muy, muy rico. ¡Suficiente comida para 3 personas! ¡Es muy grande! Las tortas mixtas también son increíbles. El servicio fue rápido y la mesera muy amable. Un poco "caro", pero lo pagamos con gusto. ¡Volveremos!

The server seemed to regard us with a hint of condescension, despite the fact that we were ordering in fluent Spanish. This can create an uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere for diners. To make matters worse, our orders were consistently mixed up, adding to the overall sense of frustration. When dining out, accurate and friendly service is an essential part of the experience, and it's disheartening when it falls short of expectations. Regarding the food, the experience was somewhat middling. The shrimp dishes, while not terrible, were somewhat underwhelming, especially considering their price. It's disappointing to receive a relatively small portion, such as 8-10 shrimp, for $200 pesos. While the fish was a better option, it's concerning to hear that you got sick the next day after your meal, leading you to believe it might be related to your visit to Navieros. In a surprising twist, your return visit to Navieros resulted in a much more positive experience. The shrimp and octopus with garlic butter turned out to be amazing, which is a testament to the restaurant's potential. It's great to hear that they were able to deliver an exceptional dish that you truly enjoyed. In conclusion, my experience at Navieros was a mixed bag, with issues in both service and food quality. While the initial visit left much to be desired, your return trip showed that there's potential for excellent dishes at the restaurant. It's possible that the restaurant is working on improving its overall service and consistency. However, it's important for Navieros to focus on both the quality of their food and the professionalism of their service to provide a more consistent and satisfying dining experience for all customers.
