Contribuiți la feedbackFirst time here, but it's the second time having the food. That time, a friend dropped off takeout for us after I had a hospital stay, and I loved it. Duck is one of my favorite meats, and Peking Duck is definitely one of my favorite Asian dishes.Everyone loved the food. Not one complaint about it or the service that was both relaxed and attentive. We're already excited togo again.
Would not call this your typical Chinese restaurant. This place specializes in Pekin duck (blind fold not included) steamed dumplings and various buns. Very nice bar and great atmosphere. The service was excellent along with the food. Pekin duck wasamazing and so were the pork BAO buns. The various dumplings and the scallion pancake were fantastic. The soup dumplings may bemy favorite. Definitely make reservations because this place get quite busy.
Me my wife Roxana visited for dinner last night? The food service are out of this world! Everything we ate tasted amazing. Jason Staff are extremely friendly hospitable! That was our second time at Long Island Pekin we can?t wait to return!Thank you?me and my wife recommend the whole duck if you stay after 8pm the Birria Tacos ????????????????????
We enjoyed a delicious meal here. Everything was perfect. A pleasant surprise given how difficult it is to find solid Asian cuisine in LI. -HK duck: perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Great flavor throughout. -Flat noodles withshrimp: sometimes flat noodles can be overly salty/greasy. Not here. It was perfectly balanced and flavorful. I loved adding abit of mustard for some heat. -Pork soup dumplings: so tasty. Skin was nice and thin but also sturdy. Loved the littlespoon/cups they came in as well. -Pork and chive dumplings (pan-fried): this is another dish where most restaurants make theskin too thick. Not the case here. Nice and crispy, not too salty. A well balanced dumpling. -Pork and chive dumpling (steamedwith chili oil and soy sauce): delicious if you like a saucy steamed dumpling. -Sesame balls: a true highlight. And awesome wayto wrap up our meal. Crispy mochi donut ball filled with purple sweet potato....I want to order a tray of these and eat them fordays. I?m OBSESSED with these!!!!!!!! Jason, the chef and owner knows how to run a business.
They bring a slightly different Asian menu compared to all the Asian food options in Babylon. If you like soup dumplings l, steam buns and Peking duck without going all the way to Chinatown or queens. check this place out. Slightly americanizedcompared to an authentic restaurants and prices a bit high for what these dishes are meant to be. But a good change of pace incomparison to the large Chinese and Japanese restaurants in town.
