If your looking for a cosy pub for lovely home cooked food then this is the place to visit! Sunday platter was such great value for money and enough to feed a family of 6! The children were made to feel welcome and were able to use the outside area after eating to keep them entertained. Great range of real ales too-which kept my husband busy! A great experience at a great price! Will definitely be back.

I visited this pub for the first time after hearing great reviews. My partner and I tried the Sunday roast and were very impressed. The staff were friendly, service was prompt, and the portion of roast beef was generous. The bread and butter pudding was amazing. We will definitely be bringing friends and family back with us next time.

Old school but excellent pub (no food served except Thursdays pizza night) with a knowledgeable host and well kept range of beers. Good service, and buzzy atmosphere, even on a Friday lunchtime
