Waterside Events - b

I have been to this restaurant before. I had a dinner reservation for 7:30. I checked in with the hostess and then sat at the bar. It was 7:45 when I asked if my table was ready, but it wasn't. By 8:00, I asked again and was told they were waiting for the table to be cleaned off. It took an additional 10 minutes, but during the 40 minutes I waited for my table, they sat plenty of other tables before me. I spoke with a young bald guy who was very rude to me, which I was not happy about. I also did not enjoy the DJ's music, it was horrible. I will never go back again.

The food at this restaurant was excellent. The outdoor seating area was very peaceful. I would suggest adding some soft background music to elevate the dining experience. The staff was attentive and the drinks were also delicious. Overall, it was a pleasant lunch on a Sunday afternoon. I would highly recommend it.

The main reason to visit this restaurant is for the beautiful views, although the food is just okay. My only complaint is that if I order a $140 ribeye, it should be brought out as soon as it is ready. It seemed like the server may have thought we were not ready for it yet because our appetizers were still on the table. Unfortunately, the ribeye came out lukewarm. It could have just been a misunderstanding, but for a dish that expensive, it is important to ensure that it is served properly so that the diners can truly enjoy it.

Outdoor seating was requested and placed on this app for waterside . Was told at restaurant outdoor seating would be a delay due to everyone waiting on fireworks which I understood. We arrived at 7pm our reservations were for 8pm. We were placed on indoor seating, staff stated “everyone is here for the same thing”. Which I understood but that is specifically why we chose and reserved for outdoor seating. There should be a time limit. To be fair on those that had RESERVATIONS outdoors. Overall food was ok but open table nor waterside kept their end of the bargain. I received an alert the day of reservation that the restaurant would be having a prefixed menu at 95.00 PP. So we were forced to sit indoors since we didn't have much of a choice and had no choice to do the $95PP price to sit indoors which was not what we reserved. Disappointed

Great place for ambience. The outdoor seating was nice. Had to wait a while for our drink orders to arrive, and again to get our check when we were done eating, but still had a very nice time out.
