Mendoza Cafe - Aylesbury Vale

Nice place, but they hate hats and will ask you to leave if you refuse to take it off. No signs or posters up declaring it. Yes I'm being serious.

The service at this restaurant was extremely poor. We waited 15 minutes for the drinks menu and another 20 minutes for our drinks to be served. Despite the cafe not being busy and only having three other groups of people, the waiter/bartenders seemed to be wandering around aimlessly and chatting with friends instead of attending to customers. After waiting for over 35 minutes for just two drinks, we were very disappointed. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning.

I ate at mendoza this morning, and I ordered the small breakfast that includes tea or coffee. I got my tea before the breakfast, and I had to wait thirty five minutes for the food, so I had practically finished my cuppa before it had arrived. But, the breakfast was nice, although the yolk on the egg was hard, overdone. So a little bit of a shame. Though the staff member serving, was friendly.

I went to this restaurant on Saturday night and had a great experience. The food was delicious and the staff were very pleasant. I will definitely be returning. We opted for the pre-theatre menu, which was reasonably priced.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. We called ahead and reserved a table for a party of 25. The menu was great and reasonably priced. The service was fast and the staff was very attentive. They even provided balloons for my 8-year-old's birthday. The bill was accurate and did not include an automatic gratuity for large groups, unlike most places. We will definitely be returning. Thank you to Ebi, Nicola, Clare, and the rest of the team!
