Darlingtons Tea Rooms - Aylesbury Vale

Disappointing visit to this cafe this morning. Very poor selection of food for brunch for those of us who don’t eat meat! Even as a meat eater it was on the expensive side for a bacon sandwich served with crisps and a tiny salad.

My wife and I recently visited the Heart of the Shires shopping outlet, and despite not being a fan of shopping, I found the experience enjoyable. We decided to have lunch at Darlingtons Tea Room, where we were pleasantly surprised by the good value and excellent service. The tea room was well managed and we had a lovely dining experience.

We regularly visit here and have done for many, many years. The food is always superb and I'd recommend you give this a try where you'll find that Ian and his team really will ensure you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and incredibly tasty food ...

This restaurant is located on the just North of Weedon (Northants) on the in The Heart of the Shires shopping village. We travel regularly between Nottingham and Milton Keynes to visit our family. We use the where possible to avoid the hell...that is the We always try to stop off at the shopping village to have a rest, visit the the eclectic range of charming shops and to eat at Darlingtons. We have never had a bad meal. The food is well prepared, beautifully served and reasonably priced. The service has always been friendly and professional. It is extremely popular so, at busy times, unless you have pre-booked you may have to leave your mobile number and have them call you when they have a table free. There are enough fascinating shops to mooch around, though, that this should not be a problem.

My husband and I have now been to Darlingtons times and each visit is as good as the previous one. The menu is simply delicious and can be changed to suit your taste, within reason.. The staff are efficient and friendly, attentive without being...over bearing... The meals in my opinion are good value for your money and we never leave feeling hungry.. I highly recommend Darlingtons as a lovely place to have a value for money lunch or snack and a nice cuppa.
