Whataburger - Avondale

This restaurant is usually bustling and I enjoy stopping by for some late-night fast food after a long day. However, the night crew on 10/21/2022 was not as good as usual. When I went through the drive-thru, I noticed that the two cars ahead of me both pulled over and went inside. When I got home, I realized that I should have done the same because they mixed up my order, except for the drinks. Hopefully, this was just a small mistake.

My order was a burger, onion rings, and drink. My order was taken quickly. The food was on my table within 5 or so minutes. Everything was hot and tasty.

I have eaten here several times because my mom loves Whataburger. The restaurant is always clean and usually busy, especially on weekends. The staff is friendly and the food is reasonably priced. The only thing I miss is the red salsa - they now have green salsa, which I don't like.

0 stars ?????? Whoever is hiring these evening folks needs to be at fault for this. Or the team leader In charge for them needs to get fired!! Cheese Tomatoes were bad I couldn?t even eat because of how nasty they tasted . Fries were chewy meat wascold !! Not even slightly cold but cold as if they had put it in the fridge before giving it to me . At least put it in themicrowave so my cheese can melt !! Also they didn?t have straw so they gave us coffee straws. I?ve worked at whataburger before know this is unacceptable . Get better team members.

I am a fan of Whataburger, but I had a very negative experience with customer service at this particular location. The staff member I interacted with seemed to have a negative attitude and should not be in a customer-facing role if they are not happy with their job. I recommend providing better training to your employees to ensure that customers have a positive experience and want to return.
