Teach your employees a little urgency. 10 minutes after order was said to be done via app and they were slowly meandering to get it put together. Very frustrating.
This Starbucks is located on McDowell and Park 10 Drive. Right between the Portillos and Jersey Mike’s. This location allows drive thru orders, cafe orders and mobile orders. This is an EXTREMELY busy Starbucks. Due to the area being surrounded by shopping, entertainment and a variety of restaurants surrounding them. These tend to attract out of state visitors or locals. Plan on having a self time management and plan accordingly to your lunch breaks or business matters. The staff tries their best to deliver orders on time. Many factors can play into a delay. Corporate or management cutting hours and labor, fellow employees may call out due to being sick, etc. These factors can cause the staff to struggle on time of delivery. The staff may seem stressed out at times but they do put on a friendly persona to hide it.The cleanliness could be better but again; they are extremely busy and not enough staff to make it a priority. If you kindly bring to their attention, at the register, that there was a mistake on an order; they have no issue finding a solution. It is best NOT to ask the baristas who are in the process of making drinks. It takes their time and attention away from the next customer’s drink(s) being completed. If you purchase a food item, an ice tea and a hot latte; all three of these items will come out at different times. This is due to the company operates on tickets that print at the designated station. Once the transaction is completed at the register; the tickets are sent to the designated station. So there may be a bit of a wait, if other orders (other tickets) are ahead of yours; food station may have no tickets and may be delivered before your drinks. Keep in mind with how much customers love to customize their drinks; that may impact your drink order to be delayed as well. Just some food for thought. ?It is always best to take any questions or concerns to the front registers and not at the counters where the drinks are placed or over the plexiglass. It is best to always ask for sugars, water, ice, etc. within the appropriate ordering area, the front registers. Not over the plexiglass to a barista who is in the process of making a drink; or at the area (pick up counter) where mobile orders are placed; Where baristas are within the process of making drinks and calling out orders. Again, interrupting them causes delays on orders of others. Just like any other job occupation, everything is designed for a reason and everyone has a place. All with the goal for production to be met. Having interruptions will cause deliveries and production to be disrupted and impact a delay only to become a domino effect. With this being said if you take your questions, concerns and orders to the front registers this will cause the baristas to be punctual with orders. If you go into this location with and awareness of how EXTREMELY busy this location is, and you have cafe mannerism and etiquette, you’ll have a great experience just as I have. I have enjoyed my visits here and besides the staff here being extremely busy, and out numbered by customers; I always make sure that I have time to place an order. If they’re busy and I don’t have as much time. I don’t risk it or chance it. I just place an order somewhere else.Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian selection, but they do cross contaminate. Meaning they use the same cutting board and tongs to transfer food in and out of the oven. They use the same shakers, steamers, and equipment to steam milks. They do rinse them after every use. But the micro remains still could possibly linger.Dietary restrictions: They do have non fat milk and alternative milks. The food is not the healthiest it is all preserved and processed meats, cheese and foods. It is all frozen packaged food; that is kept in the freezers and then thawed out over night; to be warmed up in an oven the day of, and upon order. Sugar free options are minimal. They have sugar free vanilla syrup. Stevia and Splenda that come in packets. You have to ask for the packets at the register or ask for a specific amount to go in
They take way too long to, we were waiting for over 20 minutes for our drinks expecting the most to be 15 minutes making us late to where we had to be. There were only 2 cars in front of us?
This place and the employees are phenomenal. I know coffee-shop staff aren’t therapists but when I kinda blathered, Cory was so kind to listen and was very upbeat and was all the more willing to pay for my food himself out of sheer kindness. I know this location gets a high volume of customers but these guys are pros and are on top of everything despite this. Would recommend this location always! 10/10
