Potbelly Sandwich Shop - Avondale

Having grown up in Chicago, I have been going to Potbelly's for years. When they finally made it to the Phoenix Valley I was thrilled. Now with this one open in the West Valley, there are plenty of locations wherever you are. This one was very clean. The staff was friendly and quick. The food tasted fresh and was made to look like it was assembled with care. The inside is spacious enough for a sandwich shop. With plenty of seating inside and out. I And they deliver too. I will definitely be coming back here again.

I've only recently started going to potbelly (last few months) and usually my food is good but the last few times have been questionable and I wonder if the employees even care. I had to drive back to get chicken because they had forgotten to put it in my salad. Today they decided that putting old avocado and old lettuce on my salad was acceptable even though they probably wouldn't put it on their own salad and eat it. I did go back and they remade the salad but this has happened twice already. Sadly, I won't be going back to this location even though it's not far from my home. I will gladly go to another place altogether or drive further for better quality and consistency.

I have had good experience before but today's order had avocado that shouldn't have been used and turkey slice had unusual darkened edge. (And that is just cursory look at one half the flat bread delivered) looked at other half the sandeich and second picture added. Please do a better job of reviewing the quality of the ingredients used prior to including in an order.

Don't waste your time, went here last night at 8pm, was the only customer during my entire 20 min visit (they ran out of chicken salad and had to remake more) only to get home, bite into my sandwich and taste ASH, open my sandwich and there's BURNT bacon on it. You'd think if I've been waiting patiently all that time the LEAST they would do is make sure my food was prepared properly, the additional minute and a half recooking bacon wouldn't have made my visit any worse than it was. Absolutely unacceptable Update I contacted the customer service at the email provided the day this review went public and never heard a word back from them.

I don?t know if it?s because I was hungry, but I really just had one of the best sandwiches ever. I also tried the Voodoo Heat chips and definitely surprised me with how amazing of a flavor it is. My new favorite sandwich shop!
