Barrio Queen - Avondale

The food was amazing,everything was tasty and delicious.Although the costumer service was okay,the server kept ignoring us(or at least we thought) and walking by.

Bland and forgettable. Nothing about the food or service makes us want to go back. Basically an Applebee's trying super hard to be an edgy Mexican food joint.

Instagramable interior, great patio. Queso was perfect, but the drink service was slooooooow, and my chile carna asada taco was too salty to eat, and I have a very high sodium

Would have been 5 stars across the board of not for the following: hostess took all the utensils when she seated me, so there was nothing to eat with when the food came. I ordered the Chiliquilles Verde. Very good however I ordered eggs over easy and they were over hard. Also, underside of the food was cold. Obviously, the Chile Verde was spread over top, but warming the chips ahead of time is a simple easy fix. Delicious flavor and would order again but emphasize to heat the chips first and watch the cook on the egg.

I will be coming back to barrio queen for happy hour and requesting Monica R as my server. Very fast and efficient service. Anyone going to barrio queen should suggest her.
