Jake's On The Lake - Avon Lake

Lunch. I had a table meal that had the Lake Erie Perch and Walleye along the side some shrimps, coke-laws and onion rings. I wanted to eat outside on the terrace. The food was great. It came in time. They were busy. This place was highly recommended by locals and I can see why.

My staff and I had a late afternoon flight, so we visited the city centre and then traveled to the lake. We went by chance to Jake's and decided for lunch. It's a great place! We sat on the deck. Great atmosphere, service and food was excellent. We make several trips to Cleveland and will definitely be back!

The fish was good. Really all bread was top basket like onion rings. I tried the club sandwich and it was good. The ribs looked good. The staff seemed satisfied with the customers and each other. I watched a few employees who washed their hands for 25 seconds. There was a beautiful park along Lake Erie just on the street where you can observe sun. The restaurant has no view of the lake, but after dinner I didn't care.

It's ok. Had the perch sandwich they are known for. Fish was crunchy, roll soft. House made chips fried to a dark brown little flavor. Our waitress came by once. Had to ask someone else for a refill on a drink. Waited and then had to ask for our bill. Busy place.

Had the Lake Erie perch dinner. Was excellent. Had triple chocolate brownie for dessert. Service was excellent, but be prepared to wait to get seated as they are busy.
