Muffins And Scones - Avon

We stopped by this restaurant on our way back from Ocracoke, and we couldn't have been more pleased! Everything about this place is amazing, from the atmosphere to the food. The muffins and scones were delightful, and their breakfast bagels are simply the best. Definitely try the Build-Your-Own option—fresh and hot! I would gladly drive from Nags Head just to get bagels from here. The coffee was fantastic too!

We visited 3 breakfast places while staying in the area. This was the best based on the number of available food and drink options. They had really good coffee drinks, fresh bakery, quiche, bagel sandwiches and more. The food was really good and sowas the customer service atmosphere. On a personal note...try the chocolate chip banana bread! .....The creme brulee latte wasmy favorite as well.

I ordered a birthday cake for my mom while we were on vacation, and it was absolutely delicious! The cake was large and beautifully decorated. It was moist, and the lemon buttercream was fantastic. I highly recommend it if you're in need of a birthday cake!

I ordered a blueberry turnover and a mini chocolate cake with cream cheese. Unfortunately, the blueberry turnover had very few blueberries; it was mostly just puff pastry with a lot of sugar on top. The mini chocolate cake was supposed to have cream cheese filling, but I had a hard time finding any. While both desserts tasted good, they didn’t quite match the descriptions provided. I prefer not to write negative reviews, but I would want to hear this feedback if it were my business.

Service was quite slow...longer than normal wait times. Food is crazy expensive for what you get, but tastes ok. I paid an additional $2 for an egg on my bagel. $2 FOR ONE EGG. And I thought their chalkboard was pretty clear ????
