Bizim Ev - Avanos

Bizim EV Restaurant, Avanos, Turkey May 30, 2024 We ate here as part of a tour group. The atmosphere was otherworldly, cavelike. Like a scene out of Starwars maybe. Staff were attentive. Wine flowed fairly consistently. I would have liked a little quicker wine service, but we were a large 30 person group, so I was forgiving. We had lots of small appetizer dishes leading up to a flaming hot pot beef. Great presentation and tasty flavors.

We were in a group, our guide took us to this restaurant in the summer of 2019. We found pills inside of our soup. We complained to the manager and he explained to us that one of the cooks dropped a laxative by accident. See picture attached. How can you drop 2 pills inside a soup by accident? I think it was done intentionally to get us sick. Avoid this restaurant, something not right with the staff.

Our guide took us for lunch , after a wonderful tour in Cappadocia. Nice decor and ambiance, excellent food and very good service.

My tour group (only 9 people) took us here for our Lunch stop. I had the chicken clay pot and it was really good. I also really enjoyed the Mezzes.

We went to this restaurant as part of a tour and it was excellent. Our appetizers were yogurt with dill, which was great on the pita bread they provided, and the bean salad, which tasted so good it left us wanting more. For a main, we had their meat stew which is served in a hot clay pot...very good. And the baklava for desert was the best I've personally ever had. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.
