Bluewater Avalon Seafood

Had the wonderful privilege to travel out to Catalina Island. We had a wonderful boat ride and walked around the beautiful island. Ate dinner at the blue water Avalon, there were many seafood and fish choices. I had chicken my husband had the fisherman platter all was delicious! Our appetizer was jalapeño artichoke dip it was very good. They had a nice alcohol selection. Absolutely delicious!

Fantastic food! Great location! Such a nice place to sit and eat lunch. Beatuiful views from the outdoor seating. Service was good. A little over the top though. Almost every 2 minutes we had someone coming around to make sure everything was ok. Was non stop. Grateful for the good service but was a bit too much.

The Bluewater restaurant is fantastic! It's right on the beach/ harbor. The spot is amazing with great views! The food itself was very tasteful. I got the fisherman's platter and it was so good. The fish was so fresh! Scallops were tasted full. Shrimp was great with the cocktail sauce. They also give you free sourdough bread with butter on the side which was so amazing. Everything was perfect! The only reason for the 4 stars was the price was a little high but understanding it is an island so it will cost more than on the mainland. I recommend this spot!

We were on the island celebrating a friend's birthday that day. The outdoor patio area was nice. Server was great and the food were delicious, along with the drinks. We had the oyster shooters, Ponzu Sashimi Sea Scallops, a dozen of oysters, seabass, shrimp and chicken gumbo, and Gemelli Pasta with Shrimp Sea Scallops. The Sashimi was our favorite. I believe we had two orders of these. Definitely recommend to try out this place. The only thing we weren't a big fan of is the oysters. Although, they were delicious, but they were bigger than we imagined.

Loved this place! We ordered steamed clams, oysters, fried calamari, artichoke dips, poke, broccolini, prawn cocktail, oyster shooter (beer one was bomb) and buffalo jug. Everything had so much flavor and we all enjoyed. William was a great server, very nice and friendly, made our dinner a pleasant experience!
