I'm afraid I don't know how it works. but then I would not know how to place a bet in Britain. I prefer the st martin. they gave me a nice lunch a few years ago, even though I haven't eaten here recently. this visit was only for a coffee, a beautiful coffee and pleasure to sit in the sun and observe the life of the village.
Recently (4 sept) visited with motorcycle friends and had a very nice lunch with a choice from the whole menu. Typically French bar brasserie with good home cooked food. Unfortunately, I left my hat and cannot find an email address, so a letter was sent by old fashion airmail.
During a recent visit for a drink and rehearsal of the excellent grimbergen on draft. animated small bar, which serves for the midday to appropriate trips.
A nice friendly restaurant that has a good call for the quality of modules and frits that we enjoyed here several times. a good selection of French beer is also available
Le St Martin only serves food at lunchtime. Tuesday to Friday there is a plat du jour and dessert du jour on offer together for around 10 euros. This is very popular with the working locals who can be sure they will eat well and...be out within the hour. The cooking as far as the plat du jour goes is best described as generous home style fayre, unpretentious and tasty. The rest of the small menu is competently executed and includes steak frites and andouilette. From the outside it may look an unlikely place to eat as it also serves as the local PMU betting shop) but it is run by a young couple with her Mum in the kitchen and is invariably very busy at lunchtime and deservedly so.
