Contribuiți la feedbackI had expected to stay in the hotel de charmee. instead we have a small apartment in the second floor with a small roof window and very badly furnished. not to compare with the photos on the website. there was almost nothing in the kitchen, not even opening a bottle of wine (although we are in burgundy) but the worst was still coming. we have a room next to a nonne. there was a nonne (unreligieuse) who lived alongside our room permanently. she wanted to sleep at 20 o'clock. around 20 o'clock we just came back from our trips to the hotel, and that is where the problem started, she couldn't stand out the noise. we were with two children who were attentive to television and the nonne was always angry with the out of the tw, our steps from us living here! They wonder how they can have vacation without making the noise with two children of 8 and 10! the hotel service was more concerned that the nonne could not sleep, so we were constantly warned. I even asked to bring us to another room, the hotel is huge, but we didn't get anything. they have even placed a time in the elevator, please do not make them noise after 20 o'clock; as they can imagine, we left this place after two nights without regret. not to add that the breakfast is very modest a monastic style a cheese and that is all. so not worth 10 euro.
I was expecting to stay in the "hotel de charme". Instead of it, we got a small apartment on the second floor with a small attic window, and very poorly furnished. Nothing to compare with the photos on the website. There was almost nothing in the kitchen, not even to open a bottle of wine (although we are in Burgundy). But the worst was still to come. We got a room next to a nun. There was a nun (une religieuse) living next to our room permanently. She was going to bed at 8 pm. However at 8 pm we were just coming back from our trips to the hotel. And this is where the problem started - she couldn't stand the noise. We were with two kids that were keen on watching television and the nun was always annoyed with the noise of the tv, of our steps - of us living here !!! You are wondering how you can have holidays without making the noise with two kids of 8 and 10! However, the hotel service was rather concerned that the nun could not sleep - so we were constantly given warnings. I even asked to move us to another room - the hotel is huge, however, we did not get anything. They even placed a paper in the elevator - "please do not make noise after 8 pm"; as you can imagine, we left this place after two nights without regret. Not to add that the breakfast is very modest - a monastere style - one cheese and that's all. So not worth 10 euro.
We had a nice dinner at the Saint Lazarus, little choice on the map but the dishes were very good! service was also at the level! Attention, you have to book 24 hours in advance!
We spent a pleasant moment in this old renovated convent in residential service. among the old-aged apartments, there are furnished apartments for tourists. It's such a more charming way to make a step than to stay in these charming chain hotels. It's only a matter of meeting the pensioners. We met at the meal, they were charming. The meal itself was very good (no chichi but very good quality of products and kitchen). they made a special menu for children with fresh fries. breakfast was also very good. Anyway, if you're stepping on the holiday path, it's an excellent address. and the small town of Autun is also charming to discover.
Remarkably located in relation to the tourist center . spacious but monacal room . breakfast to 10 € excessive considering the proposed buffet . the wifi code provided to the reception was not the right ...
