We started badly, unfortunately we did not finish better. They had almost nothing left on the menu, on a Saturday night in August, well, it could be a failure of forecasting due to the volume of work on the date, this can even be overlooked, what we ordered was delicious, without further ado, with Quite an improvement. But the service finished us off, the Cuban waiter yawning while taking our food order, the few times he came to our table (he said we were at a bad table where we couldn't be seen) trying to be funny, but so insistent in his jokes that he became annoying and even disrespectful to one of the ladies who accompanied us, bothering her husband who, because he was more polite than him, did not answer what we would have told him. It is a pity that after the effort required to maintain a business of this type, including the recent remodeling of the facilities, it is clouded by having so little or so poorly qualified staff.
Wheelchair accessibility: Tiene mesas para comer dentro yno hace falta pisar la arena Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Espeto de Sardinas, Espeto de Calamar, Abadejo Frito
The food very rich. Good value for money, given that it is a beach bar on the Costa del Sol. Rice must be ordered, preferably. I recommend the black rice, the soupy rice not. The waiters are very friendly and attentive and everything is taken care of. The only thing is that the beach is so-so, but the beach bar is not to blame for that. It is not accessible by car, except for people with mobility problems, the car is left in the lane parallel to the road. Kid-friendliness: No problem, there is also a children's menu Wheelchair accessibility: Car access is allowed to bring people with mobility problems closer Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Espeto de Sardinas, La Paella Buenísima, Almejas A la Marinera, Ensalada Con Aguacates Y Gambas, Puntillitas Fritas, Tiramisue, Fritura de Pescado
We went out of our way to Malaga because of the good reviews on the site and it has been disappointing. We ordered some shrimp pancakes (crispy but bordering on burnt), some croquettes (nothing else) and some fried calamari (the squid was well cooked but it was the blandest I've ever eaten in my life, we asked for lemon to try to fix it and we added some more salt but little did). Lastly, reading that some desserts were homemade in the reviews we ordered a brownie to share and more than a brownie it looked like a rather dry brownie. The joke has come out for €25 per head (there are 2 of us) perhaps it was the day or that we have ordered things that were not specialties but we will not return.
