The Bargara Lakes Tavern - Australia

This is a great pub situated within walking distance of the Oceanfront Caravan Park. The ambiance is delightful, and the food is top-notch. We tried the Seafood Basket for $18.50, and it was fantastic. We went on a Monday night, and I was thankful I made a reservation since it was quite busy because of the trivia night starting at 7 PM. I highly recommend this place!

The portions were huge and absolutely delicious. Our group of four was truly impressed. The bar staff were wonderful—friendly and upbeat. We will definitely be coming back. I had the schnitzel with garlic prawns on top, and it was fantastic!

This is a fantastic pub located at the southern end of Bargara. For those who enjoy a bit of gambling, they offer TAB (including a Sports Bar), KENO, and of course, pokies. Although I haven't dined there myself, I've heard from friends that the food is excellent and very reasonably priced. I can confirm that there is ample seating available in their bistro, with options for air-conditioned indoor seating or covered outdoor seating. I believe they do accept reservations, but it's a good idea to check their website for confirmation.

The meals were fantastic with generous portions, and the atmosphere and setting were lovely. However, we had to wait over an hour and a half for our food to be served. The staff was attentive and offered us a round of drinks as an apology for the delay, which we appreciated. Overall, a great experience despite the long wait.
