Whataburger - Austin

Whataburger always seems to draw a crowd. Being an out-of-stater, I had to check it out. I work service industry I recognize that being busy makes it harder to remember to smile and smiling always makes being busy easier. Jennifer Lynn at this locationmade me the most likely to come back. Burger was good, service was better.

The chain may have been bought by a firm based in Chicago but burgers still taste taste like Texas!! This location has attentive staff and fast service. They still do the practice of coming over to your table with a tray of condiments for you topick.

Seems a bit disorganized. The last couple times I have ordered for curbside or takeout. I submit the order for immediate pick up, despite not leaving immediately and having to drive there, my order has never been ready when I arrive. Otherwise theservice is good and my order is correct.

While waiting for hamburger, noticed guy attending french fries wiping his runny nose on shirt sleeve. Finally he got a kleenex and blew his nose and he never washed his hands before touching food. Then he sneezed ALL over the french fries. Never attempted to cover the sneeze. Sneezed right over the french fries.

Pure bliss! Huge line but moved quick. Food was hot and correct. Nice people and great customer service. Best $20 bucks I have spent this week cause I would rather have this than 4 gallons of gas smh.
