For appetizers, we tried the salmon deviled eggs, fried pickles, and meatloaf bites. The deviled eggs and meatloaf bites were my favorites, although my wife loved the pickles. We then ordered the Chicken Fried Pork Chop and the Hatch Chile Chicken Mac and Cheese. Once again, Chris was exceptional—be sure to tip her well!

This restaurant is truly a fantastic spot for food, drinks, and a great atmosphere. It's a hidden gem in Dripping Springs. The service was excellent, the vibe was cheerful, and it had everything you could want for a good dining experience. The food was delicious and served promptly. While it may not be our very favorite steak and frites, it's definitely among the top contenders. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, a full bar, spacious booths, and dinner specials. It definitely ranks alongside Carve and Oasthouse. We'll be back for sure!
The League (Dripping Springs was once our go to restaurant with both food service consistently excellent. Not sure what happened, but it 's gone significantly downhill. We went today and the servers and managers were unfriendly and apathetic. Our server had a haughty attitude, never once checked on us after dumping our food at the table, and forgot to order our onion rings. Two managers walked around the floor, acting busy, but not doing much. Neither one made eye contact with us or other patrons, and ignored our empty glasses and dirty dishes. Although there were only 3 other tables with people, we waited over an hour for the forgotten item onion rings. Finally, the sweet hostess checked on us again and made sure the order was turned in. She had to be around 19yrs. old, but was the only one that seemed to give a flip. The food was not as fresh or tasty either. Apparently their former chef (Robert? is no longer there, so perhaps that is why their food quality is suffering. The place had the feel of an operation going out of business where nobody cares except the young girl at the hostess stand. We used to love that place.
Place has been a mess lately. We tried to reserve tonight and came in on time only to be told there were no tables and that people were staying 2 hours and not leaving. We only saw 2 or 3 servers serving the whole floor so it was more likely it took that long to get your food. It looked like people were waiting a long time to just be served. The food is usually top notch but lately they kept messing up our orders.. undercooked chicken and overcooked prime rib. I was hoping things would get better as this has been one of our favorite places to go. We ended up leaving when it was apparent it wasn?t going to be a good experience. It?s probably better when it?s not so busy but they need more servers.
