The Kebab Shop - Austin

The Kebab Shop is a fast casual Mediterranean restaurant with wraps, kebabs, salads, known for their customizability. The fries wrap is essentially the wrap with fries added. It was plenty of food in one wrap, even half of it was enough for a meal. They have a designated sauce station with homemade sauces, I personally like a combination of all of them (spicy chili, garlic yogurt, spicy cilantro). They have lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty of parking in their lot. The noise level is low and the service was surprisingly very quick.

Haven?t had a kebab in a LONG time, so we were happy to find this place AND enjoy it! It is a little pricey BUT it is delicious (so worth it). I had a kebab and my husband got the lamb box.

I very rarely leave reviews but this deliciousness needed me to. Generous portion sizes and yummy sauces were a delight. My husband and I both got the doner fries which were insane good. Fries some how stayed scrumptiously crispy no matter how much sauce I poured on them and even though I eat slow with two little ones to take care of. Saturday and Sunday kids eat free which was a nice surprise. Service was super quick and the sweet woman working the front was patient with my indecisive question asking.

I got a box. It was good and portion size was generous. The spices on the meat are different from what I'm used to for Mediterranean food but it was still good. My son got the children's chicken plate. His portion size was also very generous. This is a good place to go for a quick and fulfilling bite to eat.

I come here everyday for 2 months and I think I've tried most of the menu. The consistency in flavor and how everything is prepared is amazing. The flavors of everything is not overwhelming; which is great because in the US and Texas we often find ourselves overwhelmed with the idea that bigger is better. This small business has me coming back day after day. The staff is very friendly and the shop is never busy. When you enter you're greeted with smiling face and delicious aroma. You'll never have to wait long for freshly prepared food with attention to detail like no other. Don't be shy and try the fries in any combination; my favorite is the Donar Fries with the spicy cilantro sauce they have on tap. Too heavy? Ask for the box as a salad with no fries and enjoy a the refreshing crunch of the leafy greens and delicious lamb. It may seem weird to eat the same thing everyday as my coworkers have pointed out; but this is the best place in the area hands down.
