If you want first-class service, gourmet food and a dry martini, you might want to skip this place. it's old, funny, loud and cool like the hell. If you don't understand, you won't like it. they will probably not like the people because they have seen any kind of snobbery there. but if they want to eat a bad margarita, washed with ice cold beer, and in the same room as some of the largest American musicians and artists, don’t miss it sit. like these are rare.

Very unique place with amazing eating and best service! the server run around the whole night, but they have an amazing setting and they take the time to feel them welcome. queso with chili added hands down the best queso in austin!

Great place! the personal was super friendly. I have the three chili sampler with her standard chili, white chili was pork and gummy. the standard chili was my favorite as it had the deepest.

I love this little place. let us be clear, guy clarks song has not placed this place on the map, her chili and mad dog margaritas did. 2x to 3x is a big jump in spiciness. here since 1976 and hopefully they will be here another 45 years.

I have been wanting to come here for years after seeing it on Food Network. When we got there it was great. Had a outstanding waitress who was super friendly and helpful. Chili was great and I got a burrito with queso on top. All the food was great and will be back!
